Brooks joined StoneCore in 2024. In his role as Director, he is involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, evaluation and execution.
Prior to joining StoneCore, Mr. Braden spent 2022-23 at Ashford Inc. (NYSE American: AINC) where he primarily focused on the execution of bolt-on and prospective platform acquisitions for Ashford’s existing portfolio of companies serving the hospitality end-market. Prior to Ashford, Mr. Braden spent seven years with Stephens Inc., most recently in the energy investment banking group where he directly participated in more than $2.5 billion of closed and engaged transaction volume spanning corporate M&A, asset A&D, public and private debt, equity capital markets, and restructuring transactions. Prior to his role in investment banking, he began his career at Stephens as an equity research associate where he spent three years covering the oilfield services sector.
Born and raised in Dallas, Mr. Braden received his B.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Corporate Finance with a minor in Accounting. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, investing, playing golf and rooting for the Texas Longhorns. He and his wife, Laura, reside in Dallas and with their baby boy and dog Millie.
