Jason is co-founder and principal of StoneCore Advisors. Jason brings nearly a decade of sell-side and buy-side transaction advisory experience, all of which has been focused in the construction materials industry.
Prior to co-founding StoneCore, Jason worked at Greystone, where he gained hands-on transaction experience and extensive knowledge of the construction materials industry servicing the needs of family-owned businesses, public companies and private equity. Over the course of his career, Jason has developed relationships throughout the construction materials industry, and regularly keeps in touch with the most active buyers and sellers of construction materials businesses throughout the U.S.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Cal State University. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three children. In his free time, Jason loves hunting, fishing and playing golf.

Brent is co-founder and principal of StoneCore Advisors. Brent has over a decade of experience in merger and acquisition transactions through both advisory and corporate strategy M&A roles.
Prior to co-founding StoneCore, Brent was with Lehigh Hanson, a global construction materials producer, where he managed and executed deals in excess of $2 billion. Prior to Lehigh Hanson, he worked in KPMG’s deal advisory practice focused on Energy and Natural Resources.
A native of Texas, Brent holds a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s in finance & accounting from Texas Tech University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Brooks joined StoneCore in 2024. In his role as Director, he is involved in all aspects of deal sourcing, evaluation and execution.
Prior to joining StoneCore, Mr. Braden spent 2022-23 at Ashford Inc. (NYSE American: AINC) where he primarily focused on the execution of bolt-on and prospective platform acquisitions for Ashford’s existing portfolio of companies serving the hospitality end-market.
Prior to Ashford, Mr. Braden spent seven years with Stephens Inc., most recently in the energy investment banking group where he directly participated in more than $2.5 billion of closed and engaged transaction volume spanning corporate M&A, asset A&D, public and private debt, equity capital markets, and restructuring transactions. Prior to his role in investment banking, he began his career at Stephens as an equity research associate where he spent three years covering the oilfield services sector.
Born and raised in Dallas, Mr. Braden received his B.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Corporate Finance with a minor in Accounting. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, investing, playing golf and rooting for the Texas Longhorns. He and his wife, Laura, reside in Dallas and are excited to be expecting their first child.
